We also work with some of the top businesses and organisations in the UK and around the world in collaborative partnerships. We have a reputation for applying our research in real-world situations, to help develop innovative solutions and technologies that have real impact.
Our ground-breaking research covers a wide range of disciplines – read about some of our most eminent researchers:
Professor Caroline Watkins is head of UCLan’s nurse-led stroke research unit - the only one of its kind in the UK – and advisor to the Department of Health. She has recently been made a Fellow of the European Stroke Organisation, for the decade of ground-breaking research she has undertaken at UCLan.
